Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Women’s Health and Wellbeing services is pleased to offer Employee Assistance Program (EAP)services.  WHWS offers one on one support as well as tailored workplace workshops.

 

What is EAP

The Employee Assistance Professional Association of Australia define EAP as

‘a work-based intervention program designed to enhance the emotional, mental and general psychological wellbeing of all employees…The aim is to provide preventive and proactive interventions for the early detection, identification and/or resolution of both work and personal problems that may adversely affect performance and wellbeing. These problems and issues may include, but are not limited to, relationships, health, trauma, substance abuse, gambling and other addictions, financial problems, depression, anxiety disorders, psychiatric disorders, communication problems, legal and coping with change.'

Who can access EAP?

Not all employers offer EAP to their employees, some employers have set EAP providers and other employers allow their staff to choose their own provider. WHWS does not have any restriction with who can access EAP however it is best to check with your employer/HR department to see if there are any restictions in place and how many sessions are covered of if there is a cost cap.

What is the cost?

The cost for sessions depends on the services selected.

One on one counselling EAP - $140 per session (GST free)

One on one professional supervision - $155 plus GST per session

One on one executive coaching or management support - $155 plus GST per session

Group sessions in the workplace - Prices vary. Please contact 94902258 for more information.

For more information or to access these services you can either call (08) 9490 2258 or click on the button below to be redirected to our referral form.  Once you have completed the form and clicked submit, a member of staff will contact you within 2 business days with a suggested time and date for a telephone appointment/assessment with our Therapeutic Administration Officer.  This allows you to be added to our waitlist and ensures you are allocated to the correct counsellor to suit your needs.
